1. The sun was our light source and it bounced off the object we were photographing. The camera sets the shutter speed and the aperature. We focused the image through the lens and pressed the shutter release button to open the shutter and expose the film.
2. We took the film canister into the light proof dark room, reeled the film, put it on the center column which makes the tank light proof, put it into the tank, and put the lid on it. Then it is put through the chemicals. Developer makes the image appear, stop bath stops the developer, and fixer makes the image light proof. Then you can remove the negatives from the tank and put them in the wash. You can then clean them with photoflow and place them in the dryer.
